PADDLESPORT SAFETY AND RESCUE COURSE (PSRC)
£95 per person for British Canoeing members or £100 non-members.
On the British Canoeing foundation safety and rescue training, we will look at a variety of ways to deal with any incidents in the sheltered water environment. This course is a prerequisite for anyone who is doing the paddlesport instructor course but also really useful for anyone who paddles in this environment as well.
During the course we will look at a variety of rescue techniques using a range of craft including; kayaks, canoes and stand up paddle boards.
We will also be looking at cross craft rescues i.e rescuing a canoe from a kayak, what equipment we should carry and considerations to take into account before and during a paddling session
This can be done as bank based course as well as boat based. In both cases though ,you will spend most of the day becoming fairly damp, but with a smile on your face! This course is not an assessment but a useful tool and opportunity to try out different methods of rescue and safety techniques to add to your tool box.

The cost of the course is £80 per person for British Canoeing members or £85 non-members.

We can offer closed and bespoke courses for those people who require it. Please contact us for price.
