Service Description

On our whitewater experience day, we will look at the fundamental skills and techniques when whitewater Kayaking, we will ensure you have a safe yet slightly challenging environment working our way down a river and looking at features up to Grade 2. On this course we will look at: Different river features and how to use them, Breaking in and out of eddy’s, The use of edging your kayak, Using a variety of paddle strokes efficiently, Basic River reading. Kit required for the course (available on request subject to availability): Fully outfitted kayak Quality kayak paddle Whitewater helmet Buoyancy aid Cag  Wetsuit  If you own any of the above equipment please bring it along and let us know on the booking form.
